Nite Net Radio
So far 20 establishments within the Town Centre of Oldham have a Nite Net radio.
This allows the premises to communicate with the other establishments,Police, CCTV,Local Authority Enforcement officers and the Minor Injuries Unit.
This has been a sucessful scheme with the radios being used on a daily basis. The premises can fore warn each other about persons who have been ejected for causing trouble or who have been denied entry for not having proof of ID.
They can also summons the police and direct the CCTV cameras to any incident that they see fit to be captured on digital cameras.
ITS NOT ONLY THE TOWN CENTRE
LEES & DISTRICT PUB and CLUB WATCH have also adopted this scheme and help each other to resolve problems within their area.
